"The First Snowfall" is a Fabric Melodies illustration from Meet Tweet, a children's book by Mary Young and published by Pucky Huddle Books (PuckyHuddleBooks.com). It is the first book to include my Fabric Melodies illustrations. The image was created with scanned batiks that are selected specifically for their extraordinary patterns. Using Photoshop, I designed then constructed each digital image - layer by layer - before watercolor details were added. I repeated the process until each digital image was completed. It is a beautiful image for a child's room, so peaceful and calming. One of my favorite details is the sky that is created from a snowflake quilt pattern. Say "I love you" to your special little one by having the image printed on a metal print from Fine Art America.
Digital Artist/Graphic Designer Robin G. Morgan has been involved in the visual arts for over thirty-five years. She began her artistic journey as a school volunteer, before becoming an educational consultant, digital publisher, graphic designer, media developer, and middle/high school digital arts teacher.
